Western New York Chapter Free Throw Winners
    
Knights of Columbus members from Our Lady of Hope Council,
Kenmore Avenue, Kenmore, hosted the 2008 Diocesan
Free-Throw Contest for boys and girls ages 10 through 14 on
Saturday, February 23rd.  Shown left to right, front row, girl winners
Emma Storm, Fredonia (10 year olds), Michaela Wozniak,
Lancaster (11 year olds), Laura Mattison, Wellsville (12 year olds),
Emily Cardullo, Grand Island (13 year olds) and Natalie Burns,

Action Chairman, John Sowinski, Orchard Park, State Youth

shoot-out were Peter Kuszczak, Al Ricotta, Tony Curella, Timm
Ciffos, Frank Kovacs, Thomas Sheehan and Chris Pricha.
     Diocesan winners will now compete in the Upstate Regional
Shoot-Out on March 29, 2008 at Bishop Ludden High School,
Syracuse.  State Finals wil be held April 5, 2008 at the West Point
Military Academy.  02/08

Additional Seminarian Support by Christ the King Council of Aurora
On Saturday, May 3rd, members of Christ the King of Aurora Council 12829 worked on the annual spring cleanup at Christ the King Seminary. I wasn’
t able to get a group picture like last year. But we also presented a set of vestments to each of the seminarians who are being ordained this year and did
get some pictures of that event.
