| The pilgrimage to Our Lady of Fatima Shrine was started in 1988. The shrine itself is located on some beau-tiful grounds in Lewistown, NY. It is unique with a basilica and an actual cross laid out throughout the grounds surrounded by many donated statues. It is attended by many people from Western New York as well as pilgrims from Ontario, Canada. The WNY Chapter erected a Monument to the Unborn Children in 1994. It is situated in front of the Shrine, between the two sidewalks leading up to the entrance of the Basilica of Our Lady of Fatima. |
